Bucharest installed a central system of technical infrastructure: by the end of the interval, 42 million cu.m. of water were pumped into the the city's pipes, and a 650 km-long sewage system collected the waste water. The Dambovita river banks were developed, a concrete bed covered in 1935 its course between the Rahova bridge and the Serban Voda bridge. The city's "Development Master Plan" was drawn up and published in 1935. The vision developed by its authors, especially as regards the migration of the Capital's central nucleus to the north, the outlining belt under tree plantation and the Capital extension beyond the lake are still valid.
